A few months ago CANLOVE got a chance to meet and interact with some of Los Angeles’ top graffiti artists. Estria Graffiti Battle is a nationwide competition that brings together amazing spray paint artists and see who’s got the skills to pay the bills. Each artist is given the same paint and the same word minutes before they start and have only a few hours to create their concept.
Our very on DJ NEFF caught a second place prize and went to Oakland to compete in the finals. Sadly he didn’t take home the gold but fell LA artist VYAL reigned supreme with his second title in a row. Big shouts out to Woier, TazRok, Krush TWS, Trixter, Sand, and all the other homies that got down.
CANLOVE was having fun during the competition with onlookers by showing how we pop spray paint cans recycled them. Laying out some canvas on the ground gave some kids the chance to let loose and overcome their fears about popping a spray can.
